The Catholic life and mission at St. Thomas More is evident in all aspects of school life. Positive relationships at all levels are built on mutual respect and love. There is a strong commitment to Catholic Social Teaching. Pupils recognise that they are following in the footsteps of Jesus and can reflect on this in their relationships, attitudes, and behaviour. The pupils are at the heart of the community, and they accept the responsibility to fulfil their Catholic mission. The Catholic life of the school is rich in opportunities for children to encounter God and to deepen their relationship with Him. Pupils work together to support Sheffield Children's Hospital, CAFOD, Good Shepherd and local foodbanks.

Cardinal Robert Prevost has been elected as Pope Leo XIV. He is the first pope from the USA, but he has spent many years working in Peru.
