Virtues To Live By
In St Thomas More School, we promote ‘Virtues to Live By’. This is being used across the diocese in several schools and we recognise this in our school.
Every term, there are two themes in the ‘Virtues to Live By’ – these will include qualities such as kindness, patience, simplicity. These virtues are displayed around school in each classroom and children are actively encouraged to consider how they could live in this way.
Each week, teachers across school nominate children from their class who have specifically lived out the virtue for the half term and they will be rewarded with a certificate from Mrs Faley in Celebration Assembly.
